The class competition came down to a tie as the seniors and juniors squared off in a surprise cheer competition featuring a boiled egg competition.

Student Council sponsors scrambled to find a tie-breaking event and were able to secure an event to determine the winner October 1 during 8th period.

Senior Brooke Butcher and Junior Zach James represented their classes in the boiled egg competition. James was the first to “find” the uncooked egg, breaking it on his head to the cheers of his classmates.

Students said the event was a great surprise and most enjoyed the event, though seniors said they had hoped for a better outcome.

Juniors captured the 2021 Spirit Stick.
