Homecoming 2021 (Fall) Kicks off Saturday

Students are gearing up for what many consider the most “exciting” week of the school year as Student Council sponsors the annual Homecoming.

For 50 percent of the students, this will be the first high school fall Homecoming as last year’s fall festivities had to be moved to the spring.

This year’s theme is “Lights, Camera, Homecoming” and all spirit days, banners and floats will incorporate movie themes.

  • Class Movie Themes:
  • Class of 2022: Musicals
  • Class of 2023: Comedy
  • Class of 2024: Horror
  • Class of 2025: Action

Spirit Week:

  •  High School Musical Monday–Mathletes v. Athletes: Dress like your favorite athlete or genius.
  • Breakfast Club PJ Day–Wear your school appropriate pajamas.
  • Harry Potter Day–Freshmen–purple; Sophomores-yellow; Juniors-red; Seniors-green
  • Movie Theme Thursday–Dress like your favorite movie character
  • There’s No Place Like Home Friday–Blue and Grey Day

Door Decorating: Advisories will decorate doors. Doors should be finalized Monday.

Banner Decorating: Each class will decorate a banner. Banners are now due Monday due to the virtual school day.

Coronation: During halftime of the LCHS/Lincoln football game Oct. 1.

Parade: Parade will be Sept. 30 at 6 p.m. Parade line-up is at 5 at RLBMS

Dance:

  • The Annual Homecoming Dance will be outside at the Weston Hub (corner of First St. and Main).
  • Dance will be October 2 fro
  • Tickets are on sale now.
  • Dance will be for ONLY LCHS students in grades 9-12

Advisory Competitions: Daily Kahoot competitions.
