Eight LCHS runners will be heading to the WV State Cross Country Meet October 31 in Ona, WV.

The seven-member LCHS Boys’ XC team qualified for the event by capturing the Regional title last week. The team is comprised of Seniors Jacob Moore, Isaac McCormick, Dakota Paugh; Sophomores Slate Swiger and David Hughes; Freshmen Luke Boram and Maddox Prince.

Joining the boys’ team is Emily Wilfong, senior.  Wilfong is the lone female LCHS XC runner to qualify for the state tourney.

The team is coach by Mrs. Rachael Boone.
