The boys’ basketball team opens its season fresh off a state tournament berth and a sectional championship as they play in the Mussleman Tip-Off Classic in the Eastern Panhandle. 

The Minutemen will play Spring Valley Dec. 13 and Mussleman Dec. 14.  The first home game is December 18 against Liberty Harrison.  

The Minutemen will have to face the defending state runner-up, Fairmont Senior Dec. 20 at home. 

Returning seniors for the Minutemen are seniors Asa Post, Kyle Gannon, Jacob Heater, Jacob Carder and Nic Kuhn.  

The team hopes to win a lot of games this year. 

 The head coach is Charles Simms and assistant coaches are Bill Linger and Joe Nichols.
