The LCHS Football has more than tripled its wins from last year as they head into the last stretch of the season. 

  The Minutemen stand 4-3 on the season with their losses coming against top ranked opponents Bridgeport , Fairmont Senior and Robert C. Byrd . kick off the season’s The Minutemen bounced back with three wins in a row against Elkins, Braxton and Preston High School.   

  The team finished rivalry week with a win against Buckhannon-Upshur to bring home ‘The Pick’ after three years. 

    Players have had an individual and team awards including nods from local media. As of September 30, they were ranked by WVSSAC 23 and MaxPreps 18.  

    The team is coached by Mr. Dustin Cogar, Assistant Principal and led by captains Caden Rohrbough, Isaiah Burciaga, Charles Simms and Nic Kuhn.
