Four LCHS grapplers are headed to the West Virginia State Wrestling Tournament in Huntington, WV next weekend.

Representing LCHS will be Senior Hunter Mitchell, Junior Ryan Metztgar, Freshmen Joseph Blake and Will Kuhn.

The wrestlers had a strong showing at the Regional meet last weekend.  They came close to finishing in the top three; however, fell shy of the top three.

The Minutemen have a long history of sending wrestlers to the state tournament.

Mitchell had an in-season highlight when he captured his 150th win. He has already surpassed that mark and hopes to end his career with more than 171 wins.
