The 2017 volleyball team has a new leader at the reign as Mrs. Julie Oldaker takes over as head ‘Maids coach.

The girls will be lead by first-year LCHS Coach Oldaker and assistant coach, Leah Bailey.

Coach Oldaker has been coaching volleyball for 5 years and has also coached girls’ basketball and boys’/girls’ track. Coach Oldaker brings personal experience to the court as she played volleyball, basketball, and ran track in her high school career.

She is a math and science teacher now at RLBMS. Players said she gets along well with the teammates and the assistant.

This is the first year of coaching volleyball for Coach Bailey. In her school career she only played soccer. This is also her first year of her teaching career.

Players are optimistic about the upcoming season and hope to get some wins for their new coaches.
