Deputy Jeb Tonkin of the Lewis County Sheriff’s department spoke to Mrs. Debbie Gump’s psychology class about drugs and their effects on human behaviors last week.

Tonkin and the LCHS Sheriff’s Department have worked with students about a number of timely topics over the past few months.

Tonkin is a former LCHS student and a current deputy with the Lewis County Sheriff’s Department.

Students said they were appreciative of Deputy Tonkin’s time, and many

said his presentation was informative.
