$1 X 764= Way more than $764.
Today, Feb. 5, was Jack Rollins Super Hero Day at LCHS to help celebrate the five-year-old’s birthday.
Students and teachers joined forces to dress as super heroes and collect money for Rollins who is battling Neuroblastoma.
The faculty coordinated the event which garnered almost $800 for the Rollins Family.
“We were happy to help Jack and his family,” Mrs. Barbara Spaur said.
Super hero t-shirts such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Captain America, The Flash and The Avengers were seen throughout the day.
The Harrison County youth was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma two years ago. He is the son of Ryan and Brooke (Cartmill) Rollins.
Jack’s mom, aunt and uncle all graduated from LCHS.
Students said they enjoyed participating and helping the family.
“I chose to dress up today because I read about Jack awhile ago and when I heard about Jack Day today, I had my mom go out and get me this shirt. I wore it today to support Jack,” Katrina Linger, senior, said.
