LCHS recently wrapped up its ancient history-themed spirit week. Enthusiasm ran high throughout the week and at the pep rally.
The week’s events included a variety of events including the parade, coronation, spirit week, parade and pep rally/thuse.
Throughout the week students participated in events such as the banner and float building as well as the performance of a class skit during the pep rally.
Class competition results included:
- Banner: 1st Place: Seniors; 2nd place: Sophomores; 3rd place Juniors; 4th place: Freshman.
- Skit: 1st Place: Sophomores; 2nd place: Juniors; 3rd place Freshmen; 4th place: Seniors.
- Float: 1st Place: Sophomores; 2nd place: Juniors; 3rd place Freshmen; 4th place: Seniors.
- Overall: 1st place: Sophomores; 2nd place: Juniors.
The LC Minutemen played their Homecoming game against the Lincoln Cougars. The final score was 41-34, Minutemen.
At halftime the Homecoming king and queen were announced as Mark Abrego and Shaelin Smith, and the rest of the court was recognized.
Senior Princesses and princes were as follows: Mariah Burkhammer, Hailey Greaver, Brooklyn Hefner, Charlie Ressler, Keller Bennett, Brayden Carder, Drew Cayton, and Jacob Hellems.
Junior princesses: Zoe Roberts and Kiarra Weaver.
Sophomore princesses: Addie Brown and Julia Watson.
Freshman princesses: Paelyn Hinkle and Lucia Zavala.
